Bonus staff contracts (SDCOE)
We proudly partner with the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) to provide comprehensive training and certification for our staff. Through this collaboration, our team stays current with the latest developments in child development and education. Every member of our staff is contracted directly with SDCOE and maintains up-to-date certifications, including CPR, First Aid, and AED, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for the children we serve.
Full-Day in home family child care
Our thoughtfully designed, play-based curriculum is specifically tailored for children ages 3 to 5, with a deep commitment to fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. We create a supportive and nurturing environment where each child feels valued and encouraged to explore, learn, and develop at their own unique pace. Through carefully planned activities and meaningful play experiences, we aim to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and nurture positive relationships, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and well-being.
Our Facility Hours
We provide care during mornings, school hours, and Afternoons, in a nurturing in-home childcare setting, with transportation for ALL ages, to and from school. We are Open Monday-Sunday 24 Hours a day, excluding 13 Paid Closures Per year.
Form Of Payment
We are pleased to accept state-funded payment programs, including but not limited to organizations such as the YMCA, Child Development Associate (CDA) programs, and other similar state-supported childcare funding sources. In addition to these options, we also welcome personal payments made in cash. Our goal is to offer flexible and convenient payment solutions to accommodate the diverse needs of the families we serve.
Parent involvement in spirit days and Holiday parties!
Monthly notices are sent to keep you well-informed and prepared for upcoming events. This allows you to plan ahead for our parties and themed spirit days, such as pajama days, crazy hair days, and movie days. We also organize potlucks where every family is encouraged to contribute according to their ability, whether it’s homemade dishes, store-bought snacks, or beverages. Parent participation is an important part of our community and is outlined in the family contract.

SDCOE in depth
The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) certifies us in using the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ), a trusted way to track child development from birth to age five. This lets us closely watch each child's progress and, if needed, refer them to specialists like speech, occupational, or physical therapists, Our team is fully certified in all areas of development, which makes us stand out from many childcare programs. this partnership is not something you will find in other childcare facilities as Each staff member has individually worked hard to earn this certification, ensuring top care and support for your child's growth.

At Briones, Pamela Family Child Care, we assign meaningful and engaging work that stimulates both the mind and creativity. While the fun and play are plentiful throughout the day, we ensure your children excel in their academics by focusing on essential skills such as phonics, writing, grammar, vocabulary, math and measurements, time telling, and understanding the value of money. Each child progresses at their own unique pace, ensuring that no one falls behind or moves too far ahead, creating a balanced and supportive learning environment. Additionally, we specialize in catering to children with IEPs, IFSPs, special needs, and behavioral challenges, providing individualized attention and strategies tailored to their specific requirements.

Meet the team
Pamela Briones
I have 19 years of experience in childcare and am a proud parent of three children. I am the owner of Briones Pamela Family Child Care and am fully licensed by the State of California. I specialize in language development and English literacy, providing nurturing and educational support tailored to each child’s growth and learning.
Crystal Briones
Employee Focus: Serves as the lead academic tutor, working one-on-one with each student to help them meet their academic goals and stay on track for success. She works amazingly with kids and works wonders in helping them exceed in every aspect.
Angelica Briones
Employee Focus: Specializes in supporting social and emotional development, bringing over 18 years of experience working with children with special needs. She is skilled in understanding and responding to a wide range of behaviors, providing patient, compassionate, and effective support.
Rudell Reid
Employee Focus: Committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship, with expertise in building, repairs, and ongoing home improvements. Certified in Introduction to Building with Infants and Toddlers.
Licensed Contractor: Reid Construction & General Contracting
Amanda Briones
Employee Focus: Skilled in fostering growth through math enrichment, creative art exploration, and health education.
Certifications & Experience: Licensed CNA with hospital experience; PCA certified; certified in infant and adult CPR; seizure-response certified; trained in child and adult development; and experienced in supporting individuals with special needs across all ages.
